City - Central Business District
The majority of office buildings are concentrated in Raffles Place, Tanjong Pagar, Robinson Road, Cecil Street and Shenton Way.
Raffles Place: Greatest concentration of Grade A buildings. First choice of international and local banks and financial institutions.
Multi-national accounting firms, law firms, serviced offices and hedge funds are also attracted here due to the banks' presence. Nearest MRT (also known as subway, tube, train or MTR) is Raffles Place MRT.
Cecil Street, Robinson Road and Shenton Way: Extension of Raffles Place. Buildings along these streets are also very popular with law firms, recruitment firms, accounting firms, international advertising firms because of its slightly lower rental rates compared to Raffles Place. Nearest MRT station is Raffles Place or Tanjong Pagar Station.
Tanjong Pagar: A cousin of Raffles Place, here the buildings tend to be older though there are a few new buildings scattered in this area, eg Springlaf Tower. A mixture of Grade A,B,C and D buildings are located here. Popular with any kind of businesses. Nearest MRT is Tanjong Pagar Station. Unique historical shophouses are also located here in Amoy Street, Tras Street, etc.
Suntec City and Marina Bay area: Touted as Asia's vertical Silicon Valley during the dot com boom days, it is now still very popular with IT firms, law firms, serviced offices and other businesses. Located just opposite are Millenia and Centennial Towers, two of the most prestigious office buildings in Singapore.
Rental rates are comparable to Raffles Place. At the podium level is Singapore's largest shopping mall (anchored by Carrefor Hypermart) and Suntec convention center where exhibitions are held. The famous World Bank / IMF Meeting was held here in October 2006. Nearest MRT is a 10 to 15 mintures walk from City Hall MRT Station.
Alexandra Road , Tiong Bahru, Red Hill, Queenstown
Mainly home to light industrial buildings, this location is still very popular with more SMEs setting up offices here. The rates are much lower than the business district and yet is not far away.
HarbourFront Office Precinct, Alexander Business Park, World Trade Centre
Harbourfront is the gateway to Sentosa Island, the site of the future intergrated resort and casino. Exxon Mobil is the anchor tenant with Merril Lynnch coming on stream in 2009 / 2010. Alexander Business Park consisits of a cluster of offices buildings such as PSA Building, Alexander Technopark. The Comtech, NOL Building, BP Tower, etc. Notable tenants include Hewlett Packard, PSA, NOL and BP.
Clementi, Pasir Panjang
City - Business District City Hall , High Street, North Bridge Road
Home to Singapore's tallest building, The Swissotel (Hotel). Connected to it in the same development is the prestigious Raffles City Office Tower and Raffles City Shopping Mall.
Well-known office tenants include the Singapore Economic Development Board and Accenture. In the shopping podium is the world-famous Bikram Yoga. Collectively, it is simply known as City Hall in Singapore. City Hall MRT is just right below.
Other buildings located nearby include The Adelphi, Peninsula Plaza, High Street Centre, Odeon Towers, etc.
City Downtown Golden Mile, Beach Road, Bencoolen Road, Bugis, Rochor
One of Singapore's most popular shopping precincts. Parco Bugis Juction Mall is directly connected to Bugis MRT and situated within the same development is the modern Bugis Junction Office Tower.
Diagonally opposite it is the famous ParkView Square office tower with its gothic-like architecture. There is a wide selection of office buildings and shophouses along Beach Road, Bencoolen Road, Middle Road, etc. available to cater for any businesses.

Singapore's most well-known stretch of shopping malls. Office buildings here are extremely popular due to the convenience, prestige and infrastructure. Notable buildings include Ngee Ann City Tower A & B, Wheelock Place, Wisma Atria, etc.

Orchard Boulevard , River Valley, Tanglin Road

There are only a few office buildings located here which is at the fringe of Orchard Road.
Balestier, Serangoon, Toa Payoh
Targeted more at local SMEs, these areas generally have much lower rent.
East Coast Katong, Parkway Parade, Marine Parade, Siglap, Tanjong Rhu
Bedok, Chai Chee
Very limited selction of corporate buildings. Mainly consist of high tech business parks and industrial buildings. Chai Chee Technopark is populated with MNCs such as Lucent, Sun Microsystems and United Premas.
Changi Hi-tech Business Park is located in this district. Major tenants include IBM, Ultro, etc. Surrounding the business parks are warehousing and logistics facilities belonging to the likes of DHL.
Located in the established housing estate of Tampines are various modern low rise office buildings. Highly sought after as a back office operation center for major banks, it offers reasonable rental rates at a convenient location near to amenities such as shopping malls and residential estates.
Hougang, Serangoon, Punggol
Bishan, Ang Mo Kio, Braddell Road, Thomson
Ang Mo Kio has a high concentration of industrial and high tech buildings while corporate office buildings are few and far between.
Jurong, Boon Lay, Tuas
The International Business Park is located in this district. Major tenants include Creative Technology, Acer and M1.
Further out west would be Singapore's industrial and warehousing hub, Tuas.
